Obama’s Kids to Attend Public Schools in D.C.

In an important move indicating his solidarity with the people who elected him, and consistent with his stand against school vouchers that would allow parents to choose to send their children to schools they otherwise would not be able to attend, Barack Obama today announced that his daughters will attend public schools in the District of Columbia, one of the nation’s poorest performing school systems.
