What a great format rather than the 30 second sound bite formats previously.  The back to back Republican/Democrat format is good too. 

Fred Thompson did not shine but did okay.  Romney did well.  Ron Paul showed who he is, accusing the US of causing Islamic terrorism and invoking the gold standard.  What century is that guy from?  If Romney isn't lying about his conservative values, I might be able to vote for him if Fred doesn't get it.

The Democrats all make me gag.  John Edwards has "been fighting the special interests for all his adult life" -- as a trial lawyer making millions in settlement fees.  Hillary is pissy.  All agree: Everything should be done by the government.  If "we" "fight" the drugs companies and the oil companies, who's gonna make the drugs and the gasoline?
