The Universe is Laughing Behind Your Back

So I read this article that said global temperatures are dropping faster than ever, already wiping out the "gain" of half a degree we sweated through last century, and that the sun (the giant ball of fire in the sky that apparently doesn't affect temperatures on Earth, according to U.N.-approved scientists) isn't warming up according to its usual cycle.

Do you get the feeling the entire Universe is making fun of Al Gore?  I knew I liked the Universe.

Okay, so let's see if I got this.

The Constitution contains actual words, ink on paper, saying you have a right to own and carry a gun, and says nothing about abortion.  But courts examine laws curtailing "Constitutional abortion rights" under strict construction standards, and now there's a case in the Supreme Court where the question is if there's a right to own and carry a gun?

Can these people read?

Saint Somebody the Muslim Killer

This is a photo of a statute in a church in Spain of Saint James (?), some guy who helped kick the Muslims out of Spain.  Unfortunately, they have now put a bunch of flowers in front of the dead Muslims so as not to offend their current Muslim overlords.  So you won't see the whole statue again for a few hundred years when Andalusia is freed again.

McCain?

Well I was disappointed last night and maybe it isn't over yet; I hope not.  On the other hand I read today that Senate Majority Priarie Dog Harry Ried (D - Mars) said the thought of McCain as President "sends chills down my spine."  Heck, that's enough reason for me to vote for McCain.
